TV Treasures: These Complete Series Sets Are Now On Sale

Bingewatching is more popular than ever, and it’s easy to see why. There are few better ways to idle away the lazy weekend hours than by catching up with your favorite shows. Seinfeld: The Complete Series

For a show about nothing, Seinfeld sure captured the imagination of 1990s TV fans! All 180 episodes from the series’s nine-season run are featured in a 33-disc set. Yada, yada, yada!

Downton Abbey: The Complete Collection

Creator Julian Fellowes’ acclaimed British series, opening during the reign of King George V, concerns the comings and goings of the Earl of Grantham (Hugh Bonneville), the Dowager Countess Grantham (Maggie Smith), and other assorted members of the Crawley family and their servants. Their stately Downton Abbey home is first shaken when a famous maritime disaster puts the family’s line of inheritance into question. With Elizabeth McGovern, Penelope Wilton. Breaking Bad: The Complete Series

Terminally ill Albuquerque chemistry teacher Walter White (Bryan Cranston) decides to provide for his family after he’s gone by becoming a prolific manufacturer of high-grade crystal meth. With the help of a former student, Jesse (Aaron Paul), White’s “product” quickly becomes an in-demand commodity, rousing the interest of drug kingpins and White’s DEA agent brother-in-law (Dean Norris). AMC’s immensely popular and acclaimed comedy/drama from creator Vince Gilligan, which ran from 2008-2013, also stars Anna Gunn, Bob Odenkirk, RJ Mitte, Giancarlo Esposito. All 62 episodes are included in this 21-disc set.

Becker: The Complete Series

Ted Danson starred in this 1998-2004 CBS sitcom as Dr. John Becker, a Bronx general practitioner whose non-existent bedside manner and abrasive, sarcastic demeanor masked deep-down dedication to his patients. Putting up with Becker on a daily basis were model-turned-diner-owner Reggie (Terry Farrell), blind newsstand man Jake (Alex Desert), and his nurses–no-nonsense Margaret (Hattie Winston) and bubble-brained Linda (Shawnee Smith). All 129 episodes of the series are featured in this 17-disc set.

Workaholics: The Complete Series

Side-splitting 2011-2017 Comedy Central series follows three recent college graduates/roommates as they all take jobs working for the same telemarketing company. United by their shared desire to slack off as much as humanly possible, the guys do whatever they can to avoid having to do work. Blake Anderson, Adam DeVine, Anders Holm, Kyle Newacheck star.

That ’70s Show: The Complete Series

Airing on Fox from 1998-2006, this sitcom centers on a group of teens growing up in “me”-decade Wisconsin. Join Eric (Topher Grace), his would-be girlfriend Donna (Laura Prepon), likable goofball Kelso (Ashton Kutcher), spoiled brat Jackie (Mila Kunis), disco-hating Hyde (Danny Masterson), and indeterminately foreign Fez (Wilmer Valderrama) for all their groovy exploits. MacGyver: The Complete Collection

Fun and exciting action/adventure series ran on ABC from 1985-1992 and starred Richard Dean Anderson as Angus MacGyver, a highly resourceful field agent with the Phoenix Foundation for Research who, in lieu of conventional weapons, used all manner of everyday items to get himself out of one sticky situation after another. Dana Elcar co-starred. 140 episodes and two made-for-TV movies, “Lost Treasure of Atlantis” (1994) and “Trail to Doomsday” (1994), are featured in this 39-disc set.

Maude: The Complete Series

After two memorable guest turns on “All in the Family,” Edith’s outspoken cousin Maude (Bea Arthur) gained her own series with this 1972-78 CBS sitcom. Living in suburban Tuckahoe, New York, with her fourth husband─appliance store owner Walter Findlay (Bill Macy)─and divorced daughter Carol (Adrienne Barbeau), the opinionated and unabashedly liberal Maude often found herself at odds with her family, conservative neighbor Arthur (Conrad Bain), and her equally sharp-tongued maid Florida (Esther Rolle). All 141 episodes are included in this 19-disc set.

Soap: The Complete Series

TV spoofed its own daytime dramas with this controversial comedy that aired on ABC from 1977-81 and followed the many travails–from marital infidelity and murder trials to alien abduction and more–of sisters Jessica Tate (Katherine Helmond) and Mary Campbell (Cathryn Damon) and their eccentric families. Diana Canova, Billy Crystal, Robert Guillaume, Robert Mandan, Ted Wass, and Richard Mulligan also starred. 90 episodes on 8 discs.

The Dick Van Dyke Show: The Complete Remastered Series

Broadcast on CBS from 1961-1966, this sitcom classic followed Rob Petrie (Dick Van Dyke) as he balanced his home life with wife Laura (Mary Tyler Moore) and son Richie (Larry Matthews) with his job as head writer of a comedy-variety show. With Morey Amsterdam, Rose Marie, Richard Deacon, Jerry Paris, and Ann Morgan Guilbert. The show also featured appearances by series creator Carl Reiner, who used his experiences as a writer on “Your Show of Shows” and “Caesar’s Hour” as inspiration. 158 episodes on 25 discs.
