Re: KHAAANN!! It may have been a little hammy, but you have to remember, Kirk had to do his level best to draw Khan back in, to keep him invested in what he had planned for the Federation crew members underground from his haven overheard in The Reliant, and Kirk had to sound as if he were truly screaming his last act of rage into the cosmos. Khan couldn't come away from this revenge he'd been nursing for so many years with anything less than the 'knowledge' that he'd bested Kirk once for all, thereby making the trap laid for him all the sweeter for Spock and Kirk having out-thought the so-called genetic superman. And really, when you think about it, that facial spasming thing might well be the most emotive that Shatner has ever been in his life! At least, that's my take on it.

"…future events such as these will affect you in the future."

This wretched line (or something close to it) actually comes from a promotional film about the 1938-1939 New York World's Fair. Of course, Ed Wood Jr is still responsible for using it.
