You should revise your "Desperate Housewives" synopsis - Nicolette Sheridan was killed off 2 seasons ago, and Steven Culp before that. And the 7th Season box set issued today marks the addition of Vanessa Williams to the ladies of Wisteria Lane - that's the big selling point.

The unexpected help in HERO'S ISLAND is not from Blackbeard but from Major Stede Bohnet, an associate of Blackbeards, who is played by James Mason. The story is based on a legend that exists in the South Carolina coastal region that Bohnet stopped to help some settlers when he escaped from jail in Charleston while awaiting hanging for piracy. The escape is historical fact. Another legend is that at his hanging, Bohnet got tired of listening to a longwinded preacher and jumped off the gibbet. An interesting mean whose life would make a very good movie
