Poll: What’s Your Favorite Robert Duvall Film Role?

Throughout his nearly 70-year career on the stage, television, and in film, Robert Duvall demonstrated what the New York Times called the innate ability “to immerse himself in roles so deeply that he seemed to almost disappear into them.” The Oscar, Emmy, and Golden Globe winner, who passed away last week at 95, was just as believable playing a Mafia lawyer, a surf-loving Army colonel, a struggling country music singer, or a veteran LA cop.

This week’s MovieFanFare remembers Duvall and invites you to vote for which of his many cinematic roles you find the most memorable. For the sake of brevity we had to limit the choices to 20, so please let us know in the comments if we’ve overlooked your top pick.
