Poll: What’s Your Favorite Post-1975 College Comedy Film?

Well, it’s that time once again, as parents across America bid goodbye to their grown children–and, in many cases, their life savings–as they send their sons and daughters off to the higher levels of academia. In other words, it’s the start of anoher college year.

The venerable ivy-covered halls have been used by filmmakers as the setting for Hollywood hi-jinx since the days of Harold Lloyd (The Freshman), Buster Keaton (College), and the Marx Brothers (Horse Feathers). For this week’s back-to-school poll, though, we’re looking at campus-centered movie comedies of the past 50 years. Which picture–from the alcohol-fueled anarchy of Bluto and his Delta Tau buds (National Lampoon’s Animal House) and Spike Lee’s look at black university life (School Daze) to Ellie Woods’ Harvard Law School odyssey (Legally Blonde) and the college days of Mike and Sully (Monsters University)–makes the top of your cinematic dean’s list? Vote for your favorite below. And if your top choice didn’t make our honor roll, tell us about it in the comments.
