If you’re wondering why everyone is wearing green today, you’ve clearly forgotten that it’s St. Patrick’s Day. To celebrate this holiday of all things Gaelic, our poll this week asks you to vote for your favorite Irish-born actor or actress. Now, we’ve stretched the definition of “Irish-born” a mite to include a few notable stars (Daniel Day-Lewis, Michael Fassbender, Peter O’Toole, Saoirse Ronan) who were not actually born on the Emerald Isle, but have enough Irish in them to be considered true sons or daughters of “the auld sod.” And if you don’t see your top lad or lass in our list, let us know in the comments below.
