The lovable character actor Charles Grodin has died at the age of 86 following a battle with cancer. Known to multiple generations of filmgoers due to roles in iconic films like The Heartbreak Kid, the 1976 version of King Kong, The Great Muppet Caper, Midnight Run, Beethoven, and many more, Grodin was always a welcome presence in whatever project he worked on.
