Sad news from the world of entertainment today, Sir Sean Connery — the legendary Scottish actor (as if you didn’t know, given his impact on popular culture) — has died at the age of 90. He passed peacefully in his sleep. Best known for his role as the first cinematic James Bond, Connery also had noteworthy roles in Zardoz, Time Bandits, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Untouchables (for which he won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his performance as Jim Malone), The Hunt for Red October, and many more films.
