It’s been 35 years since Rob Reiner‘s hugely influential “rockumentary” This Is Spinal Tap was released. The comedy classic chronicles the music-packed misadventures of “England’s loudest band” as they tour America and prepare for the release of their album “Smell the Glove.” Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer shine as Tap’s core trio, and along with endless quotability, the movie is a hilarious look at past-their-prime rockers that also works as a biting indictment of the music industry.
As McKean’s David St. Hubbins points out in the film, 37 people have been in Spinal Tap during the course of the band’s existence. For this week’s poll, we want you to pick your favorite. And be sure you share your Spinal Tap memories in the comments below!
