When stuntman-turned-director Hal Needham collaborated with Burt Reynolds, the results were always movie magic. Arguably the pair’s most satisfying picture together was 1977’s Smokey and the Bandit, in which Reynolds Bo “Bandit” Darville, is hired to bring 400 cases of Coors beer from Texas to Georgia in a mere 28 hours. At the time, it was illegal to purchase said brew east of the Mississippi, and the Bandit’s race to outsmart and outfox the appropriately named Sheriff Buford T. Justice (a scene-stealing Jackie Gleason) is the sort of hilarious cinematic showdown from which legends are born. As we continue to remember Burt Reynolds, we wanted this latest Create-A-Caption to focus on Smokey and the Bandit. We’ve taken a still from the film and added our own comedic remark, be a good buddy and do the same in the comments below. That’s a 10-4!
