One of the most popular film musicals of all time, the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic The Sound of Music stars Julie Andrews as a novitiate who becomes governess to a large family in 1930s Austria and charms both her charges and their widower father (Christopher Plummer). Winner of five Oscars, including Best Picture; with Eleanor Parker, Richard Haydn. Songs include “Do Re Mi,” “My Favorite Things,” and the title tune.
