There’s a new version of The Mummy hitting theaters next week starring Tom Cruise. As bad as it looks (and man, it looks terrible), its release gives us an excuse to celebrate the weird and wonderful world of the Universal Monsters. So starting Monday, it will be Universal Monsters Week here at MovieFanFare. All week long we will have content inspired by Dracula, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, The Wolf Man, The Invisible Man, The Mummy, Frankenstein, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and The Phantom of the Opera.
