I’d like to find the “Karen Sisco” TV series (8 episodes) based on the Elmore Leonard character found in “Out of Sight” and a couple of short stories.

  • Hank Zangara

    “Coronet Blue” and “Blue Light.”

One of the things I love about this website is that many of the questions raised consider works that occurred before the 1960’s for TV, and before the 1940’s for movies. It’s reassuring to know there are fans who are older than I am. Although I believe it lasted 1 1/2 seasons I loved the Darren McGavin program, “the Night Stalker”, but “Ghost Story” was a lot of fun. I was very disappointed that it stopped production.

I would love to see a remake of ” Then Came Bronson “,
featuring a custom chopper from Paul Jr. Designs, of
” Orange County Chopper ” fame.

In fact, turn it into a reality show & this could be a spin-off
of ” Orange County Chopper “.

I have one episode on the Lieutenant on vhs, it would come on in south floida at 2:00 am on a local station years ago. It was a good show. one more show from even before that was the West Point Story, I think it was in the 50’s or 60’s. that was also a good series.

I would LOVE to see Barnaby Jones. I do NOT remember if it made past 1 or two seasons, but there was one particular episode in which a Vamoire was the culprit and though it was first thought to be a hoaxe, the last scene showed the suspect put his black cloak over his head..turn into a bat and fly out of the open window of Barnaby’s office.Lee Merriwether and Buddy Ebson were great together. Do any of my freinds out there rember this?! Write in PLEASE!

  • Jackie

Please excuse the errors. Of Course I meant VAMPIRE. Christopher Lee played the part of the villain. I did not mean to misspell REMEMBER.I have been working overtime and I never was good at typing.’so sorry.

  • http://www.moviesunlimited.com Gary Cahall

Actually, Jackie, Barnaby Jones had a healthy eight-season run on CBS, from 1973-80. However, as far as we could ascertain Christopher Lee never guest-starred on the show, nor was there a vampire episode in the first season, currently the only one availanle on DVD. You can find season one at: http://www.moviesunlimited.com/musite/product.asp?sku=D57102%20%20 )

The westerner created by Sam peckinpah who directed 5 of 13 episodes needs to be on dvd more than any of these.

  • Jackie

Susan..I remember ” Night Stalker “,too ! Darren McGavin was great in that. That show was one of my favorites, too. My late husband and i watched it every week. Oh, Gary ,by the way the Vampire episode was in the last season ever on in ” Barnaby, because it was Never repeated.Maybe you could research it for me to see who was the Vampire,if I am wrong about Christopher Lee. My husband and I waited for that episode to come on again, but it never did!

I remember a great cop show starring Beverly Garland when I was a teenager. It was called “Decoy” because of course she played an undercover cop. I wanted to be just like her when I was about 15. I loved the fact that she caught the scuzzy pieces of garbage and they never knew they were busted. It was sort of like ” Meet Christy Love ” about an African American lady undercover cop. That was great ,too. She was beautiful, and her famous line was: “You’re under arrest, sugar!” Who out there remembers those cop shows?!

  • Katy

I enjoyed “New Amsterdam” and it got yanked too soon.

You completed a number of nice points there. I did a search on the issue and found nearly all people will have the same opinion with your blog. 493285

Hands down Then Came Bronson, I own the pilot movie which is on DVD and copies of all the episodes but not in great shape. This series could have went on and on, the powers that be made a big mistake not continuing it. I’d love to see a TV movie made today showing where Jim Bronson wound up in life after he found all the answers he was looking for, or did he ? Michael Parks my all time favorite TV actor oh my how he could touch the heart of any teenage girl back in those flower child, sunshine shower days……..I want Bus Rileys Back in Town on DVD as well, great movie with some really good acting from a great supporting cast. My VHS is almost worn out :-(
