While doing some routine work on our YouTube channel, I came across this movie fan from the Netherlands who has a few things he wants to get off his chest about DVDs. Does he speak for you? He sure does for me, for the most part, and yes, some of these same issues have already migrated over to the world of Blu-ray. He rants with such style, I couldn’t resist sharing my discovery. His YouTube description reveals that some glitches during post resulted in transitions that were more abrupt than he intended, but I say it gives his opus a charming Jim Jarmusch quality. Plus, anybody who incorporates the theme song from Phantasm into the background has his heart in the right place, as far as I’m concerned.
