This week Liam Neeson makes the jump from action star to funnyman, playing the trigger-happy namesake son of Leslie Nielsen’s Lt. Frank Drebin in the big-screen updating of 1988’s The Naked Gun. Over the last couple of years such popular ’80s comedies as Beetlejuice, Beverly Hills Cop, Coming to America, and Spaceballs have had sequels/reboots announced or released.
