From working with the masters in cinema classics to earning new generations of viewers on television, Norman Lloyd truly did it all in his decades-spanning career. Arguably best known for his role as Dr. Daniel Auschlander in the groundbreaking medical series St. Elsewhere, Lloyd died in his sleep in his Los Angeles home on May 11th. He was 106. In his life well-lived, Norman Lloyd worked with everyone from Charlie Chaplin (in Limelight) to Alfred Hitchcock (Saobteur, Spellbound), quickly establishing himself as a reliable character actor whose range was seemingly unlimited.
