2019 was an incredible year for cinema. Once again the box office was dominated by huge popcorn flicks — everything from superhero sagas (Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Far from Home, etc) to sequels (Frozen II) to spin-offs (Hobbs & Shaw). What many of these films lacked in terms of brand new characters and storylines they more than made up for in terms of sheer spectacle.
