The recent film Godzilla: King of the Monsters names the creatures whom wreak havoc throughout its runtime as “titans.” For these were beings who existed before man, and they would be here long after we were gone. The “giant monster” is a favorite horror trope because there’s something so out of our realm of daily experience about witnessing huge beasts wreaking havoc that it impacts us on an almost primordial level. In the decade since MovieFanFare began, we’ve featured a number of articles about movies that showcase titans. So allow us to celebrate Titan Tuesday by diving deep into our vaults and unearthing some posts about our favorite mega-monsters! Enjoy!
