Ida Lupino Is Celebrated in a New Box Set

During a period in Hollywood history when women were far too often marginalized, Ida Lupino stood out. Overcoming adversity (including a polio diagnosis and navigating her way through the sexism of the era), she became an industry powerhouse through her work as an actress and director. It is the latter talent that takes the spotlight for a new box set that will be released on September 24th from KL Studio Classics — Ida Lupino: Filmmaker Collection. This four-disc set includes the features Not Wanted (1949), Never Fear (1949), The Hitch-Hiker (1953), and The Bigamist (1953). Additionally, the set includes the following special features:
