Happy Easter!
We’d be remiss if we let this holiday pass without presenting the greatest Easter song of all, the titular song from the 1948 Judy Garland/Fred Astaire classic Easter Parade. This Irving Berlin standard is a must-hear every year around this time, and while it has been covered by all manner of artists (even as you read this, someone is singing it right now as part of their Easter celebrations), no performance of it is as perfect as the one captured above.
Even devouring an entire basket of candy doesn’t even approach the timeless sweetness you hear here. And this is something to treasure!
