More than just the greatest animated comic book movie in memory, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is also an awards season favorite that is getting much acclaim for its involving stories, rich characterization, and eye-popping visual style. The film follows Brooklyn teen Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore) as he utilizes that fateful radioactive spider bite–and the mantle of Spider-Man–to attempt to stop the use of a particle accelerator by the Kingpin (Liev Schreiber). As the Kingpin’s actions cause reality to fissure, alternate-dimension Spideys like Peter Parker (Jake Johnson), Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld), Spider-Man Noir (Nicolas Cage), and Spider-Ham (John Mulaney) pile into his reality, and together they team up to save the mulitverse. Hailed animated effort also stars the voices of Mahershala Ali, Brian Tyree Henry, and Lily Tomlin as Aunt May.

The film hits Blu-ray and DVD on March 19th. We are still awaiting word on the spectacular special features that these home video releases will include.
