Here Are Your 2019 Academy Award Nominations!


Earlier this morning, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences announced the nominees for the 2019 Academy Awards, celebrating the finest films of the previous year. The movies Roma, The Favourite and Black Panther earned the most nominations, with the acclaim received by the latter hopefully silencing those critics who say that superhero fatigue is a phenomenon. (And illustrating how a film can be a pop culture phenomenon and respected by the Academy at the same time). The winners will be announced on Sunday, February 24th, and those vying for an Oscar in the various categories are as follows:
