Poll: Which Character from “Tombstone” Is Your Favorite?

It was 25 years ago this week that Tombstone first hit theaters. The acclaimed Western follows retired Western Wyatt Earp (Kurt Russell) as his attempts to settle down in the mining town of Tombstone, Arizona, are complicated when he, his friend Doc Holliday (Val Kilmer), and brothers Virgil (Sam Elliott) and Morgan (Bill Paxton) clash with a band of outlaws — leading to the gunfight at the O.K. Corral. A critical and commercial success upon its release in December of 1993, the movie’s reputation has only grew in the past quarter century thanks to great word of mouth, VHS/DVD rentals and television airings. For this week’s poll, we want you to name your favorite Tombstone character, and be sure to saddle up to the comments and leave your thoughts on the film!

Doc Holiday: ” I’m your huckleberry. ” Val Kilmer nailed the part.

My favorite part is when the saloon bully gets introduced to Wyatt Earp and he looked like he was about to wet his pants.

  • Emperor Nero

Kilmer WAS Doc Holiday and I’ve never seen anyone else do better. Earp played by Russell was great but to pick the best character in this to me was simple.

  • Mike

Kilmer`s best performance. Kilmer & Russell were amazing…great movie…even the “Bad Guys” were good. One puzzling thing about these Poll results…how the heck did Dana Delaney get 9 votes as The Best character in the movie? Either Dana & her relatives voted a few times or the Dem`s will blame it on the Russians influencing the vote. 🙂 There`s no way she played the best character in that movie.
