Christmas in Connecticut is a perennial holiday favorite thanks to a warm and funny script and unforgettable performances from Barbara Stanwyck, Sydney Greenstreet, Reginald Gardner, and Dennis Morgan. In this fantastic farce, Stanwyck shines as a New York food writer out to make points with her publisher (Greenstreet) by inviting a war hero (Morgan) to her country home for an old-fashioned family Christmas dinner. Now all she’s got to do is find a country home, learn how to cook, and cobble together a family!
