For a jaw-dropping 65 years Michael Caine has been entertaining audiences. With over 115 roles and millions of fans all across the globe, the 85-year-old icon has charmed multiple generations in films as vastly different and unique as The Italian Job to Christopher Nolan‘s recent Batman trilogy. (Indeed, he shows no sign of slowing down, with his most recent effort being the animated family film Sherlock Gnomes).
Due to the sheer length of his career, Caine has clearly been in some films that are beneath his impressive talents (Jaws: The Revenge anyone?). But for the most part, Caine’s films are often among the best that modern cinema has to offer.
