In light of the passing of actor Verne Troyer — the actor best-known for portraying Mini-Me in two of Mike Myers’ Austin Powers films — at the age of 49, we wanted to share with you the hilarious moment that introduced the character. Taken from Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, the scene featured above illustrates how well that Troyer understood comedy, making him the perfect supporting player to Myers in two of the three Powers films. The 2 ft. 8 in. star also was featured in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone as well as in several reality television appearances, but it is his performance as the adorably evil Mini-Me that audiences will remember most now that he is sadly no longer with us.
