With the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers: Infinity War, smashing box office records, fans of superhero films are on edge waiting to see what happens to their favorite characters next.
While we have to wait until next May to see how that specific story wraps up, there is comfort in knowing that fans can now return to Wakanda whenever they like, as the game-changing epic that is Black Panther hits DVD and Blu-ray today.
Director Ryan Coogler‘s blockbuster has raised the bar for these types of movies, and it’s going to be fascinating to see where the genre goes from here.

As the newly crowned ruler of the isolated African nation of Wakanda, T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman, reprising his Captain America: Civil War role) must also become his country’s protector, the Black Panther. Can the warrior king defend the throne as the ruthless mercenary Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) plots to use Wakanda’s highly advanced technology and weapons–derived from the alien metal vibranium–to wage war around the world? Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman also star in this blockbuster Marvel adaptation.
