What Horror Movie Have You Seen the Most and Why?

I’m seeing a lot of chatter around the Internet right now about people starting their month-long horror movie marathons. Naturally then this got me thinking about what the fright flick that you’ve seen the most is, and why you keep coming back to that specific tale of terror. For me personally, the answer is John Carpenter‘s original Halloween, simply because it creates atmosphere so perfectly and remains as creepy today as it was when it was originally released back in 1978. There’s no wrong way to answer this question, so share your thoughts on the horror film that you have watched the most below, and the reasons why. IF YOU DARE!

I am not one to do the newer “horror ” movies; I think they have more gore than horror. I lean more towards the older Hammer flicks. They did more to actually use my imagination. Jack Palance’s versionof Dracula was always the one to scare me the most! Their use of shadows and music really did a number on my head! No matter how many times I watch it….I still get scared! Goofy, I guess.

This one is easy. I saw “An American Werewolf in London” once a week for all 4 weeks it appeared in my local theater. And I saw it numerous times whenever they aired it on TV. I finally got a DVD of it and have since watched it numerous more times. I still get a kick out of it. Great blend of graphic horror and comedy.
