Released 35 years ago today, James Cameron‘s Aliens ranks alongside of The Empire Strikes Back in terms of being a sci-fi sequel that bests the original. Lead by a fearless performance by Sigourney Weaver, it is an action-packed film highlighted by a great supporting cast that includes Bill Paxton, Michael Biehn and Lance Henriksen, and some stunning special creature effects.
