John Travolta Sets The Dance Floor on Fire in “Saturday Night Fever”

As you make your plans for what to do tonight, we’d like to suggest that whatever you wind up doing, try to have as much fun as Tony Manero does in Saturday Night Fever. It seems impossible to believe that this film has released nearly 40 years ago, as it still holds up as a riveting portrayal of youth culture and the need to find escape from a dead end existence (which John Travolta‘s complicated lead character does in the film through this pursuit of dance).
