In a time where the word legend is thrown around far too casually, few actually earn being called such a thing as Betty White does. The actress and animal advocate best known for her work on The Golden Girls, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Life with Elizabeth, and hundreds of other movies and TV shows, White is a national treasure who has worked steadily in Hollywood for over 70 years. Such a thing is unprecedented, and she is still going strong. We honor Betty White and wish her the happiest of birthdays — she turned 96 yesterday — and many, many happy returns!
