The original Planet of the Apes is not only a science fiction classic, it was also a groundbreaking moment for cinema in general. While various sequels, remakes, and other spin-offs certainly have their merits, the first entry in the long-running saga is still the best. Which is one of the many reasons why the goofy above video makes me laugh and laugh. Through some creative editing, Brad Hasse has turned the Earth of the future into a funky dance party where apes and men both love to get down. Fun fact: Cornelius and Zira could often be seen at Studio 54 in the ’70s. The more you know!
