We were saddened to hear of the passing of actor Anton Yelchin yesterday in a tragic accident at his home in Los Angeles. The 27-year-old actor made waves as Pavel Chekov in J.J. Abrams’ 2009 Star Trek reboot and its sequel, Star Trek Into Darkness. (A third entry in the franchise, Star Trek Beyond, will be released next month). Outside of those blockbusters, Yelchin also gained attention through his work in films as varied as the Fright Night remake, Like Crazy, and the recent Green Room. Although his death is clearly tragic, there is some comfort to be found in the fact that the impressive body of work that he leaves behind will live forever.
