Which Neglected 1939 Film Deserved a Best Picture Oscar Nomination?

Ten films–Dark Victory, Goodbye, Mr. Chips, Love Affair, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Ninotchka, Of Mice and Men, Stagecoach, The Wizard of Oz, Wuthering Heights, and eventual winner Gone with the Wind–received a 1939 Best Picture Oscar nomination. But even with 10 movies in the running, the Academy had to overlook quite a few worthy choices. This week’s poll wants to know which bypassed film you think should have gotten a Best Picture nomination.
