Not to be confused with Has a Movie Ever Changed Your Mind?, this time out we’re putting Movie Irv on the spot to see if his first impressions of a film always last:
We all have those movies we enjoyed as children that lost some of their luster after we reached adulthood and our tastes (hopefully) became a little more discriminating…and, conversely, those “grownup” movies we didn’t like until we were actually grown up. You could certainly give us any number of those as your own personal example, but that’s such an obvious shared experience; we’re looking for evolutions on particular films that are maybe a little more unique to you. Which film you once loved have you cooled on? Which movie did you despise and now respect…or treasure? Have at it.
