Poll: What’s Your Favorite Decade for “Best Picture” Oscar Winners?

As many folks–including us–have mentioned, this year marks the 97th anniversary of the Academy Awards. That adds up to nearly ten full decades of Oscar presentations to look back on. With that in mind, this week’s poll wants you to pick out which decade had, in your opinion, the strongest line-up of Best Picture winners (see the complete list here). Are you a Golden Age fan who roots for Grand Hotel, Mutiny on the Bounty, and other 1930s faves? Do such ’70s selections as One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Annie Hall earn your support? Or are you a 2000s moviegoer who enjoyed watching The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King and No Country for Old Men take home the gold? Vote below, and share your thoughts on the subject in the comments.
