“The Movies That Made Me” Welcomes Actress/Writer/Director Halina Reijn

A24’s latest headline-grabbing film is Bodies Bodies Bodies, a horror-comedy that subverts tropes to offer up one of this year’s most surprisingly original offerings. Helming this film, her English-language debut feature, is hugely successful Dutch Actress/Writer/Director Halina Reijn. Given her new movie’s creativity, it was not surprisingly to learn about her huge array of influences — and you can do just that in the latest episode of The Movies That Made Me. Reijn chats about her cinematic faves in a rousing episode of the podcast hosted by Josh Olson and Joe Dante, and you can check out an overview of all of the titles mentioned in this installment at Movies Unlimited’s Companion Page for the show!
