Adapting a beloved sci-fi masterpiece for a contemporary audience is a daunting task to say the least. Showtime’s stunning series The Man Who Fell to Earth (based on Nicolas Roeg‘s 1976 classic starring David Bowie) accomplishes all these things and more through smart, engaging scripts and a top notch cast that includes Chiwetel Ejiofor and Naomie Harris that continues the story of the titular alien.
