On this Father’s Day, I thought it would be appropriate (if a little on the nose) to present the most infamous science fiction scene of all time. When audiences first glimpsed the above scene from The Empire Strikes Back they didn’t know what to think. Could Darth Vader possibly be telling the truth? If so, what would that mean for Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and the Rebel Alliance? It was a Star Wars shocker that still feels like a seismic bombshell drop all these years later.
