The biggest movie in the galaxy (well, this one anyway) right now is Captain Marvel. The film based on Marvel Comics characters stars Brie Larson as the titular hero, doing battle against otherworldly threats on 1990s Earth. Since its debut last Thursday evening, the film has brought in a historic $153,000,000 at the box office, shattering records and further proving that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is seemingly unstoppable. (Also silencing the voices of critics and online trolls who thought a female-led superhero film wouldn’t succeed at the box office, even in the wake of Wonder Woman‘s success).
