Alfred Hitchcock’s “Under Capricorn” Hits Blu-ray and DVD

Alfred Hitchcock‘s 1949 suspenser Under Capricorn has just been released on Blu-ray and DVD in a gorgeous 4k restoration from KL Studio Classics. This classic set in the 1830s stars Joseph Cotten as Sam Flusky, an Irishman who has been convicted of murder and banished to Australia. Ingrid Bergman co-stars as his mentally fragile wife, Lady Henrietta, the sister of his victim. As the troubled Henrietta begins to lose her grip on reality, the arrival of an old friend (Michael Wilding) leads her to confront what’s been happening to her and wonder if someone is trying to drive her insane. Before you can say “Gaslight,” the characters find themselves in a life-changing series of events that will leave you shaken.
