It’s time for another Create-A-Caption! For this week’s film, we’ve chosen Alien. Ridley Scott‘s 1979 sic-fi classic remains one of the most influential films of all time. A huge part of the film’s enduring appeal is the scene when — spoiler alert — a newborn xenomorph comes bursting out of the chest of Kane (John Hurt). The sequence was so shocking that it was immediately compared to the shower scene in Psycho in terms of influence and effectiveness.
