Create-A-Caption: Planes, Trains and Automobiles

This week’s Create-A-Caption focuses on one of my all-time favorite films, Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. John Hughes’ poignant comedy stars a never-better Steve Martin as Neal Page, an uptight businessman desperate to return to his Chicago home in time to spend Thanksgiving with his family. Along the way he meets, and is unable to get rid of, loutish shower curtain ring salesman Del Griffith (John Candy). During a disastrous–and hilarious–voyage back to the Windy City, both men experience the various aggravations of modern travel while forming an unlikely friendship.

Below I’ve taken a scene from the film and added my own caption, I encourage you to do the same.

“Why isn’t Del carrying this by himself? There’s only shower curtain rings in here.”
