40 years ago today, Star Wars was released…and movies were changed forever. George Lucas created a galaxy far, far away unlike anything that had ever been seen before. As such, it became so much more than a movie, but a cultural phenomenon that is unmatched by anything else. Here at MovieFanFare we remain huge fans of the space saga (well, not so much the prequels), so we are going to dedicate all of today’s posts to the original Star Wars and it’s enduring impact.
Star Wars is forever, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
