Happy 85th Birthday To “Star Wars,” “Jaws” (And Countless Others) Composer John Williams

Jaws. Star Wars. Superman: The Movie. Jurassic Park. Raiders of the Lost Ark. E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial. John Williams is the greatest film composer of all time. Without his peerless work, the magic of the movies — as well as our world in general — would be considerably different. Today marks the 85th birthday of this musical legend, and to celebrate we have included some footage above of Williams leading the Boston Pops in a performance of the theme from Jaws.
