It’s come to be known in some circles as Star Wars: A New Hope, George Lucas‘ initial entry in his hugely successful space saga. Released in May of 1977, the first Star Wars film is still one of the highest grossing movies in history and is easily the most influential sci-fi flick ever to grace cinema screens. With the recent death of Carrie Fisher still weighing heavily on our minds, we wanted this week’s poll to return to a galaxy far, far away to get your thoughts on which character from the first (and only the first, that’s why Yoda, Lando, et al aren’t on this list) Star Wars film is your favorite.
