Six Pix: Not Presidents

Six Pix presents a sextet of movie posters representing a particular actor/director/genre. You pick the one you feel is visually the most artistic or best sums up the film.

Today is Presidents’ Day, but there are no presidential portraits among these Six Pix.

Presidential

Included are: The Last of the Clintons (1935); Bush Christmas (1947); Get Carter (1971); Arthur (1981); The Truman Show (1998); and Garfield: The Movie (2004).

The names might be best remembered back from your days in high school History class. Fear not, there won’t be a surprise test here. Just a little Six Pix quiz about your favorite posters that have absolutely nothing to with their presidential namesakes. Hands up, who’s got a favorite? Anybody…anybody? How about you in the back? No? Well, I’m ready to elect mine. It’s between the pleasing pop art of Get Carter and the inventive photomosaic montage from The Truman Show. I’m not exactly nuts about Carter; my vote is for Truman—for me, the buck stops here.

Which one do you think is the winner? Should I have included something else? Tell me about it below!
