Included are: Emmanuelle (1974); The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975); The Funhouse (1981); Draghoula (1995); Inside Deep Throat (2005); and Temptation (2013).
I’m not simply paying lip service to these posters; each one is genuinely successful in conveying its theme whether it is the eroticism of Emmanuelle and Inside Deep Throat, the horrors of Draghoula and The Funhouse or the…well, temptation of Temptation and Rocky Horror. In the fertile garden of my mind two lips blossom (see what I did there?): Emmanuelle’s sexual directness and Rocky Horror’s ambiguous love-horror attraction/repulsion. In this case X does mark the spot.
