Six Pix: John Williams

Six Pix presents a sextet of movie posters representing a particular actor/director/genre. You pick the one you feel is visually the most artistic or best sums up the film.

Noted film composer John Williams is featured in this Six Pix.

John Williams

Included are: Fiddler on the Roof (1971); The Poseidon Adventure (1972); Jaws (1975); Star Wars (1977); Superman (1978); and Memoirs of a Geisha (2005).

This Six Pix is not only easy on the eyes but on the ears as well. While gazing upon these six posters you’re sure to have John Williams’ famous themes playing in your head as they were all nominated for Best Original Score (three won). But being Six Pix, we’re asking you to keep Williams’ music in the back of your mind as you concentrate on just the posters. Not that that makes the task any easier since every one-sheet here is a delight. Do you prefer the magnificent montages of Fiddler or Star Wars? The thrilling images of Poseidon or Jaws? Or the simplicity of Superman or Memoirs?

Which one do you think is the winner? Should I have included something else? Tell me about it below! (And please feel free to suggest future topics.)
