Hungry for some DVD and Blu-ray new releases? We’re serving up fresh hits and fan favorites this week, so take a look at what great movies are now ready to become a part of your viewing diet!

The Founder

In 1954, ever-hustling restaurant supply salesman Ray Kroc (Michael Keaton) was taken with the efficiency of operation that brothers Mac and Dick McDonald (John Carroll Lynch, Nick Offerman) brought to their California burger stop. The determination with which he turned McDonald’s into the benchmark of food franchising–and the ruthless way with which he ultimately squeezed the siblings out of their eponymous business–is tellingly recounted in this not-always-flattering portrait of an American success story; Laura Dern, Linda Cardellini, Patrick Wilson also star.

Sleepless

Las Vegas police officer Vincent Downs’ (Jamie Foxx) undercover work helping to catch crooked cops has forced him to keep his distance from ex-wife Dena (Gabrielle Union) and son Thomas (Octavius J. Johnson). When Thomas is kidnapped as leverage after Downs and his partner (T.I.) steal a stash of cocaine moving between a casino boss (Dermot Mulroney) and a mobster (Scoot McNairy), the veteran cop will risk his life in order to save his son. Michelle Monaghan co-stars in this action-packed re-do of the French crime thriller “Sleepless Night.”

Split

A mesmerizing performance by James McAvoy drives writer/director M. Night Shyamalan’s terrifying shocker. Three teenage girls (Anya Taylor-Joy, Haley Lu Richardson, Jessica Sula) are abducted by Kevin (McAvoy), a man with 23 distinct personalities. Now, they must desperately try to escape their disturbed captor, even as a 24th personality–one that possesses seemingly superhuman strength, speed, and durability–begins to emerge. Betty Buckley, Brad William Henke co-star.

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract

Based on the popular 1984 comic story by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, this exciting animated follow-up to “Justice League vs. Teen Titans” finds the young superhero squad going up against the ruthless mercenary Deathstroke. But their greatest threat may come from within when it begins to look as if the Titans have a traitor in their midst. Christina Ricci, Taissa Farmiga, Stuart Allan, Sean Maher, Miguel Ferrer, and Kevin Smith (as himself) supply voices.

Bigger, Fatter Liar

Kevin Shepherd (Ricky Garcia) has gotten away with lying his entire life, but when scheming producer Larry Wolf (Barry Bostwick) steals Kevin’s idea for a hot new video game, the tables get turned. Kevin realizes he’s met his match, a Bigger Fatter Liar, when Wolf refuses to admit the truth. Kevin declares, “game on,” as he and his best friend Becca (Jodelle Ferland) stop at nothing to get Wolf to tell the truth, plotting a series of devious pranks to set the record straight. Get ready for crazy hijinks and big laughs in this hilarious comedy!
